Local Grants

The SanCap Kiwanis Club has a long history of supporting local nonprofits and civic projects that align with our mission of supporting the needs of Island youth. This is done through Club funding grants, Member volunteer work, and individual contributions by the Club membership. Each year local organizations are invited to submit grant requests outlining their needs; these applications are then evaluated by the Grants Committee according to the level of need and how they fit with Club mission and goals.

The award of these grants is made by the Board of Directors, usually in late summer and early autumn. Applications and all supporting documents are typically required by late June of each year.
